A surgery expansion that doesn't keep business hours.

The general contractor is expanding and renovating operating rooms between neurotrauma and central sterile, inside a working hospital. The work runs nights and weekends, and the dumpster schedule moves with it. We keep the client's name off this page while the job is running.

The job

High-acuity OR work

Operating rooms sandwiched between neurotrauma and central sterile. It takes a lot of attention to detail and a lot of coordination.

What it needed

Service that keeps up

Contacts on weekends, and dumpster requests that change on a whim for nights and weekends, two to three at a time depending on the day. If the driver has to be there between 9 and 10, the driver is there between 9 and 10.

How it's going

One call, every vendor

We coordinate with vendors across Kansas City so the crew is served, and so the owner is served too. After hours, the call goes to Alexis herself.

From the superintendents

"If you can't get the support you need, try EWS. They've been great to us and they've made us look good for our clients."

Beau Lynch · Project Superintendent, McCarthy

"On an ever-changing project, if I ever need a dumpster swap last minute or moved last minute, I know I can rely on them and they'll take care of me every time."

Josh Frazier · Superintendent, McCarthy
