Exceptional Waste Solutions is a woman-owned waste and site services consulting company based out of Kansas City. We manage the waste scope on construction projects, and we go wherever the work takes our clients.
How we started
Alexis started EWS in 2016.
Alexis began her career in construction waste management sales for one of the nation's largest haulers, developing extensive knowledge of vendor capabilities, recycling, LEED requirements and waste diversion reporting.
Recognizing an opportunity to better serve general contractors through personalized service, industry expertise and reliable reporting, she founded Exceptional Waste Solutions in 2016, in Florida, and expanded to Kansas City shortly after.
As her clients expanded into new markets, EWS followed. The services grew, too. A client needed restroom trailers, so she learned restroom trailers. Another needed storage containers, so she added those. A superintendent needed a portable toilet on a roof, so she figured out how to get one up there.
Her philosophy is simple: listen closely, serve wholeheartedly, and let the needs of others create opportunities for growth.
Faith is the foundation of how Alexis lives and leads. She regularly prays for her clients, vendors and industry peers, believing God has blessed her with the knowledge and opportunity to serve others through her work.
She genuinely cares about her clients' success, believes in underpromising and overdelivering, and values the relationships and trust built along the way. For Alexis, business is more than a profession. It's an opportunity to serve with purpose.

We plan the waste program for your project, choose and manage the vendors, hold them to your schedule and document the results well enough to hold up in an audit.
People know each of us by first name. When you call, one of the girls answers.

A broker, a hauler or a shortcut.
We're not a broker. We don't pass your job along and disappear.
We're not a hauler. We don't own trucks, so we can pick the right one for each job.
We're not a shortcut. Your recycling numbers get reported the way they happened.
